Welcome to the Greenhouse! If you're looking for Fairy Pod seeds, you've come to the right place. I've travelled far and wide collecting every kind of seed I can find, and I offer them here for you to grow and care for.

What's a Fairy Pod you ask? Well it's where fairies come from, of course! After these plants grow to maturity a cute little fairy will poke his or her head out and greet you with a smile. To see what a pod fairy looks like, please visit the Fairy Pod Field Guide

Here's how to grow a Fairy Pod


- Fairy Pods start to sprout on Mondays and bloom on Fridays.

- When you request a seed, it will be planted in a pot and an image URL will be delivered to you. If you order your seed on a Thursday, for example, the image will remain the same until the growing phase begins on the following Monday. To see the plants grow you must embed the url somewhere, such as your blog, homepage or a forum signature. (This is the ONLY case in which hotlinking images is OK!)

- Once the Pod blooms, the final customized Fairy graphic(s) will be delivered to your email.

'Regular' Editions These are the standard purchasable release with a limited availability of 10-20 seeds. Usually 2 regular type seeds are released near the beginning of every month. Adopters receive an adoption card and custom sig at the end of the growth.

Limited Editions These are seeds available for a limited time only. Usually they are related to a special event or holiday, or in connection with a special promotion. Adopters receive an adoption card and custom sig at the end of the growth.

Smileage Editions These are fairy pods available only in exchange for Smileage Points. Released bi-monthly. Cost 10 Smileage points. Adopters receive an adoption card and custom sig at the end of the growth.

Linkware Editions Freebie fairies available to anyone who requests them. Adopters receive only an adoption card at the end of the growth. (Please read my Terms of Use to find out the terms for Linkware)

Fairy Bakery Editions With these fairies adopters receive an adoption card, custom sig and one or more special items to be used in the Fairy Bakery section of Smile Recipe. They are unlimited editions.

FLEUR DE VERSAILLES FAIRY POD SEED
Visitors to France's Château de Versailles may be lucky enough to spot a variety of Fairy Pod that is found growing throughout its beautiful spralling gardens. The Fleur de Versailles blooms a Fairy that is notable for its elaborate attire and gravity-defying hairstyle - an appearance which has earned the variety the nickname 'Petite Marie-Antoinette'.

Fairy Bakery Seeds

The Fairies which bloom from Fairy Bakery Seeds will collect baking ingredients for you which you can the use in the Fairy Bakery. An unlimited number of these seeds is available. GINGER SNAP FAIRY POD SEED
* Smilage Point Edition - only availabe in exchange for Smileage Pts! * The Ginger Snap is a lovely variety found growing wherever ginger plants are found, which means that it is an especially well known variety in China and India. The fairies which bloom from this variety can point out excellent ginger roots for use in your baking, though you will have to dig them up yourself!

* Adopters of this Fairy Pod will receive 2 Ginger Roots for use in the Fairy Bakery

COCOA KISS FAIRY POD SEED
The Cocoa Kiss is a fairy pod found growing only in the Amazon around cacao trees. The fairies of this variety are adept at selecting the cocoa beans from their habitats which will make the most delicious chocolately treats.

VANILLA BEANIE
The Vanilla Beanie variety grows primarily along-side orchids in tropical climates. You can identify a Vanilla Beanie plant by its sweet aroma. The fairies from this variety will guide you to dried vanilla bean pods which are sure to make the tastiest cakes and cookies. Adopters of this Fairy Pod will recieve 4 Vanilla Beans for use in the Fairy Bakery

The Strawberry Fancy is a pod that you will find growing only amongst strawberry plants. The fairies of this variety take very good care of the strawberries that grow in their habitat and will lead you to the best, brightest and most delicious ones to use in your baking. Adopters of this Fairy Pod will recieve 2 Strawberries for use in the Fairy Bakery
